The Wiley Elementary Library program promotes reading as a primary skill for learning, personal growth, and enjoyment. The library supports the school curriculum and offers a wide selection of recreational reading materials to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Our library is staffed by a certified library media specialist, who offers a curriculum of information skills and literature appreciation to all classes on a weekly basis throughout the school year.

To build a foundation for lifelong learning and foster a love of reading! We provide a collection of quality resources, instruction and support for students and staff to ensure that students are empowered to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, and ethical users of information and ideas.
2022-2023 will be Ms. McLean's 6th year at Wiley! She's been a librarian in public libraries and school libraries for over 20 years. She has lived in 7 states but she and her family call Urbana home.
